Using the app
Scanning food, adjusting portions, your diary and dashboard.
- Adjusting portions and countsAfter recognition, correct how much you ate: a +/− stepper for eggs, slices, and pieces, or grams for everything else.
- Barcode not found – add a product manuallyIf a barcode isn't in any source, enter the product by hand — or let the AI read the label; it's saved so the same barcode is recognized next time.
- Change the app languageSwitch the interface between Dutch and English; food results are shown separately in your language across eight languages.
- Checking Moveno's system statusSee at a glance whether Moveno's services are running normally, and follow updates during an incident — at status.moveno.co.
- Contacting support and ticket statusesHow to reach support — in the app, on the website, or as a guest — and what the five ticket statuses (Open, In progress, Waiting on you, Resolved, Closed) mean.
- Correct a food's dataFix a food's name, calories, macros or portion; your correction sticks for you and helps improve the database.
- Filter food search by diet and allergensNarrow your search results to foods that match your diet or are free of specific allergens, using 22 labels.
- Reading the calorie ring and macrosRead your remaining calories in the ring and your macros (protein, carbs, fat, fiber) in the 2x2 grid, and adjust your goals.
- Reminders and notificationsSet a daily meal reminder at a time you choose (default 12:00) and get a notice when meals logged offline finish syncing.
- Review, edit, and save a mealEvery capture method ends on a results screen where you confirm items, set the meal type, adjust portions, and save.
- Scan a product barcodePoint your camera at a packaged product's barcode and Moveno instantly looks up its nutrition.
- Scan your food with a photoTake a photo of your plate and Moveno's AI identifies each food with calories and macros within seconds.
- Search for a food by nameType a food name to find it in Moveno's database, with as-you-type autocomplete suggestions.
- The scale has stalled: what now?Why weight comes off in steps rather than a straight line, how to tell a real plateau from water-weight noise, and what to do if the trend genuinely stays flat.
