Your Food Diary: browse, edit, and delete
Last updated
The Food Diary shows your complete meal history by day, grouped by type, with your daily total versus your goal — and you can adjust or delete any meal.
Browsing your days
- Open the Food Diary. It defaults to the current day.
- Tap the left or right arrow beside the date to move one day back or forward.
- Tap the calendar icon to open the date picker; days with logged meals are marked so you can find active days quickly.
- Swipe the screen left or right to move to the previous or next day.
- Read the daily summary at the top: total calories versus your goal, and whether you are on track, under, or over.
- Scroll through the meal-type sections (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks), each with its own calorie subtotal.
Every date is available — there is no limited free version and no cap on how far back or forward you can look.
Editing or deleting a meal
- Go to the day with the meal and tap it to open the edit screen.
- Adjust food items (name, portion, nutrition values), change portions, add or remove items, change the meal type (for example, move a snack to lunch), or update notes.
- Changes save immediately and the daily summary recalculates automatically.
- To delete a meal, swipe it left to reveal the delete option.
- Confirm in the dialog. The daily summary then updates automatically.
Good to know
- The date label shows relative references like "Today" and "Yesterday" for recent days.
- Each meal shows a photo thumbnail (if a photo was captured during scanning), the food name in your app language, the calories, and a macro breakdown (protein, carbs, fat in grams).
- There is no separate save step — edits are kept right away.
- Deleting always asks for confirmation, so you never lose anything by accident.
- A missed day is neutral: the diary never penalizes you, and the calorie ring never goes red.
