Your name and the personalized greeting

The Dashboard opens with a greeting that addresses you by first name, so the app feels personal. You can change that name any time.

How it works

1. Go to the Profile tab to change the name shown in the greeting.
2. Tap your name to open the edit screen.
3. Enter a new name and confirm.
4. Return to the Dashboard; the greeting updates immediately after saving.

Good to know

• Only your first name is shown in the greeting.
• Your name is first collected during setup (onboarding) and stored as your display name.
• The greeting works in both Dutch and English and adapts automatically to your app language.
• If no name is set, the greeting shows only the time of day (for example "Good morning").
• Greeting time windows: morning 05:00–11:59, afternoon 12:00–17:59, evening 18:00–04:59, based on your phone's clock.

Common questions

My greeting shows the wrong name or no name. Edit your name in the Profile tab.

I changed my name but the greeting stayed the same. The greeting updates immediately after saving; reopen the Dashboard if it hasn't refreshed yet.

Why is the greeting in English when I want Dutch (or the other way around)? The greeting follows your phone and app language. Change the app language to make the greeting switch too.
