Verifying your email address

You can use Moveno fully right away — verifying is at your own pace, and only needed later for a few security actions.

How it works

After sign-up we automatically send a verification email. You don't need to do anything to use the app, but verifying is quick:

  1. Look in your inbox for an email from Moveno <noreply@moveno.co>.
  2. Click the verification link.
  3. On the web page, tap the "Verify your email" button.
  4. On success you see "Email verified!" — tap "Open Moveno" to return.
  5. If the link expired, request a new one from the reminder on your dashboard.

Good to know

  • Verification is deferred — all core features (scanning, logging, dashboard, diary) work without it.
  • The verification email is bilingual (Dutch or English, matching your app language) and the link is valid for 24 hours.
  • Reminders escalate gently as time passes:
    • Day 0–3: a soft, dismissable blue banner.
    • Day 4–7: a pinned yellow/orange banner.
    • From Day 7: a window that appears once per app launch, with a "Later" button.
  • Every reminder has a button to send a fresh verification email.
  • From Day 7 onward a verified email is required for: changing your password, changing your email, deleting your account, and exporting your data.
  • Tokens are single-use and expire after 24 hours; requesting a new email invalidates the previous link.

Common questions

My link says "Link expired or invalid." Request a new link from the in-app reminder; links expire after 24 hours.

I never received the email. Use the resend button on the dashboard reminder and check your spam for noreply@moveno.co.

Do I have to verify to use the app? No, only to change your password/email, delete your account, or export your data from Day 7 onward.

The reminder keeps coming back. From Day 7 the window appears once per app launch; tap "Later" to dismiss it for that session.
