Changing your email address

Linking a new email to your account? You confirm it via a link in your new inbox, so it's certain the address is yours.

How it works

  1. Go to the Profile tab → Account tab.
  2. Tap "Change email".
  3. Enter your new email address and your current password.
  4. Tap "Save" — the app confirms a confirmation link was sent (valid for 24 hours).
  5. Open the confirmation email from Moveno <noreply@moveno.co> in your new inbox.
  6. Click the link; it opens a confirmation page in your browser.
  7. Click the "Confirm" button.
  8. On success you see "Email address updated!" — tap "Open Moveno" to return to the app with your new address.

Good to know

  • You need a verified email address and must re-enter your current password.
  • The confirmation link is valid for 24 hours and can only be used once.
  • After confirmation, your status stays "verified" (the click proves the new address is yours).
  • For your security, we also send a notice to your old address. Wasn't you? Contact support@moveno.co.
  • If the new address is already in use on another account, you'll still see a success message but no confirmation email is sent (protection against email probing).

Common questions

"Verify your email first." Verify your current email before changing it. See Verifying your email.

I didn't get the confirmation email at the new address. The address may already be linked to another account (no email is sent in that case), or check your spam.

"This email is already taken. Please restart from the app." The address got claimed after you started. Begin the change again.

The page says "Link expired or invalid." Links last 24 hours. Restart the change from the app.

Someone changed my email without me. The notice to your old address tells you to contact support@moveno.co.
