Changing your password

Want to refresh your password while signed in? You do it securely in the app, confirming with your current password.

How it works

  1. Go to the Profile tab → Account tab.
  2. Tap "Change password".
  3. Enter your current password, your new password, and the confirmation.
  4. Watch the live checklist: at least 8 characters, at least one letter, at least one digit.
  5. Tap "Save" — it's only enabled once all rules are met and the two new passwords match.

Your password changes immediately; no confirmation email is needed.

Good to know

  • You need a verified email address. If your email isn't verified yet, you'll see "Verify your email first" and the screen won't open (this protection applies from Day 7). See Verifying your email.
  • You must re-enter your current password as a check.
  • Password rules: at least 8 characters, at least one letter, at least one digit.
  • The change takes effect immediately, with no confirmation email.
  • Lost your password and can't sign in? Use the reset link instead — see Resetting your password.

Common questions

"Verify your email first." You must verify your email address before changing your password.

"Current password is incorrect." Re-enter your existing password carefully.

The Save button stays disabled. Your new password doesn't meet all three rules yet, or the two fields don't match.

"Too many requests." Wait for the cooldown period to pass and try again.
