How it works
- No action is needed — old data is cleaned up automatically on a fixed schedule.
- If you want data removed sooner, delete your account in the app (see the account-deletion article).

Good to know
- Meal photos are deleted 6 months before the diary text, so older diary entries show without a photo for that period.
- Weight entries are kept because they are tiny and useful for long-term trends.
- Consent records are not erased on account deletion but anonymised, because GDPR requires a demonstrable trail of consent.
