Deleting your account and data
Last updated
You can delete your account yourself in the app; this is your right to erasure (GDPR Art. 17).
How it works
- Open the account/settings menu in the app and choose 'Delete account', or request deletion via privacy@moveno.co.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
- Your account and associated data are removed, including your stored images (meal photos, profile photo, and any food-correction photos).
Good to know
- Self-service deletion is available directly in the app (GDPR Art. 17).
- Deletion removes your profile, meals, summaries, weight entries, corrections, and your stored images in EU storage.
- Consent records are an exception: they are not erased but anonymised (your user ID is detached) and retained as a 5-year audit trail, as GDPR requires.
- Deleting your account is also how you withdraw consent for processing your health-related data.
- Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription — manage or cancel your subscription in your iOS or Android system settings.
- If you are a Founders subscriber, the lifetime 'Founder' badge is only ever cleared by account deletion.
