Tracking your weight and reading the weight chart
Last updated
Enter your weight and follow your progress on a clear chart — type it in by hand, or let measurements flow in automatically from your health app.
Moveno tracks your weight over time. Every measurement appears as a point on your weight chart, so you can see your trend at a glance. You can add measurements yourself, or connect Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android) so weight from a smart scale, for example, arrives automatically without you re-typing it.
How it works
- Open the weight area of the app.
- Add a new entry by entering your current weight.
- Save the entry — it appears straight away as a point on your chart.
- Review the chart over time to follow your trend.
- Tired of typing? Connect Apple Health or Health Connect so weight from your smart scale appears automatically. See Connecting Apple Health or Health Connect.
Good to know
- Your weight entries are kept indefinitely — they are not removed during the normal cleanup of older data.
- No health app connected and no entries yet? You'll see a friendly empty state inviting you to connect a scale or workout app, or to log your weight by hand.
- Each entry is tagged with a source: manual, imported, Apple Health, or Health Connect.
- Imported entries are de-duplicated, so the same scale reading never appears twice on your chart.
- Numbers follow your device's setting (for example a comma or dot as the decimal separator).
Common questions
My weight from my smart scale isn't showing up in Moveno. Most likely your health app isn't connected yet, or the read permission for weight wasn't granted. See Connecting Apple Health or Health Connect.
I see the same weight twice. Imported entries are de-duplicated. If you once also entered the same measurement by hand, delete the duplicate.
My chart is empty even though I logged meals. Meals and weight are separate. The chart only fills once you add a measurement or connect a health app.
How do I delete or correct an entry I logged by mistake? Open the entry in the weight chart and edit or delete it.
Does Moveno keep my whole weight history? Yes — weight entries are retained indefinitely.
