Auto-filling your starting stats from your health app

Tap a button during setup and Moveno fills your stats screen for you, so you don't have to type everything in.

On the stats screen during setup, you can pull your details from your health app with a single tap: height and weight, plus on iPhone also biological sex and date of birth. That leaves you less to fill in by hand.

How it works

  1. During setup, reach the stats screen where you enter your details.
  2. Tap the "Auto-fill from Apple Health" (iPhone) or from Health Connect (Android) button.
  3. Approve the read permission in the system dialog.
  4. The available fields are filled in for you automatically.
  5. Review the pre-filled values, adjust anything as needed, and tap Continue.

Good to know

  • This is a purpose-limited request — it asks only for height, weight, biological sex and date of birth, not the full 6-category connection.
  • Biological sex and date of birth are iPhone-only: Health Connect on Android has no demographic data, so those fields stay blank on Android.
  • Fields with no value in your health app simply stay blank — the button never overwrites with errors.
  • This is a one-time setup convenience. Tapping it does not establish an ongoing connection or store a consent record — the system dialog itself is the consent moment, and nothing is saved until you tap Continue.
  • Biological sex here means your recorded sex for the calorie calculation. It is ordinary profile data, not special-category data.

Common questions

The button only filled in a few fields. Date of birth and biological sex are iPhone-only, and any field with no data in your health app stays blank.

Nothing happened when I tapped auto-fill. You may have declined the system permission, or there may be no data in your health app.

I'm on Android and my sex and birth date weren't filled in. Health Connect doesn't provide these. Enter them by hand.

Can I still edit the values after auto-fill? Yes — they're only pre-filled. You can change anything before you tap Continue.
